Personal Service

PERSONAL SERVICE.  Because Estate Planning is all that I do, my practice is very manageable without the need for a receptionist, paralegal, or any staff.  After all, I am not having to deal with opposing counsel, court dockets, court appearances, etc.  I also avoid some aspects of elder care law that many people don't want or require and that demand staff and higher overhead, which always translates to higher fees for the client.  My practice is purposefully designed to serve the majority who simply want a plan that is designed to address if they ever become incapacitated and their impending death, and to keep their loved ones and their assets out of the probate attorney's office and out of the probate courtroom. As a true solo practitioner, my clients capitalize on lower fees and personal service (all communication is directly with the attorney, nothing gets lost in translation with the front desk receptionist, etc.)

ACCESSIBILITY.  One of the biggest complaints clients have is that they can't reach their attorney.  About the only time I don't immediately take a phone call is when I'm meeting with a client.  I, however, promptly check my messages and return calls afterward.  Many of my clients are surprised when I return texts/e-mails late evening or on weekends.  If an attorney wants your business, he/she ought to be accessible.

SCHEDULING is made easy.  I never ask anyone to take time off of work to visit with me.  Instead, the question is always, "Is there a day of the week/time of the day that works best for you?"  If a Saturday morning or a 7:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. consult is required, so be it.

RELAXED and INFORMAL atmosphere.  Many people expect (and some people want) an attorney in a suit.  To each his own.  Most office days, you'll find me in a pair of boots and jeans.  That's what I'm comforable in.

STRAIGHT FORWARD PROCESS.  I utilize a very methodical, systematic, step-by-step process from the initial consult to assembling final documents to ongoing service after the fact.  My clients always know on the front end what their flat fee will be and what exactly to expect in exchange for that fee - no surprises midway through the process.

To schedule a consultation, you may call my office or click the "Schedule a Consult" button and provide some brief information to get started. If calling, please be prepared to leave a voicemail.  I will return it.  If you prefer to text or e-mail, just provide me with your cell or e-mail, and I will respond accordingly. While I provide all of my clients with my cell number, I do not list my cell number or e-mail on my website due to the amount of spam we all suffer these days.  If you leave your e-mail, please check your Spam folder.  Sometimes, my first e-mail will land there.

Lastly, I serve all of Arkansas AND Missouri. If you do not live near my office, you may request a phone consultation to address all of your estate planning needs from the comfort of your home.
